You are welcome to attend virtual seminars on the digital functionalization of textiles. Important issues that will be discussed include: Do we as a region or nation have sufficient knowledge to change textile production? Where are we today and what challenges lie ahead?
The seminars will highlight the need for digital processes in textile production. Speakers with different areas of expertise will provide an overview of the area’s best practices and on challenges from different perspectives.
The event is organised as part of the Digital Surface Modification of Textiles and Other Flat Surfaces Erasmus+ project. The aim of the project is to create teaching materials within this area, partly for courses for students and partly for business and industry. The project is a collaboration between partners from TTK University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), Saxion (Netherlands), Trimtex Baltic (Estonia), and the University of Borås.
DigiFunc Day is primarily intended for participants from business, industry, participants of the Erasmus+ project and employees at the University. Students and the public are welcome to the seminar at 09:00–12:00.
Due to the development of the novel coronavirus Covid-19, DigiFunc Day will go virtual. Although we are sorry we cannot hold the event as planned, we look forward to meeting you for online seminars and discussions.
Participants will receive a Zoom-link in order to view the seminars and participate in discussion.
